September 27, 2023 – Evening Debate on “Competitiveness and Industrial Policy in Belgium”

The Consular Corps of the Province of Namur, represented by its President, attended an evening debate organized by FEDUSTRIA and INDUFED in Gembloux.

Deputy Prime Minister David Clarinval discussed the challenges of reindustrialization in Belgium, citing challenges such as the lack of financial support and the need for labor market reform.

Four Walloon companies also shared their recommendations on key topics such as access to raw materials, energy supply and the importance of continuous learning.

This meeting highlighted the importance of working together to strengthen the competitiveness of Belgian businesses. The Consular Corps of the Province of Namur fully supports these initiatives for a strong industrial future in Belgium.
