On the occasion of King’s Day, celebrated on November 15 in Namur, the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur took part in the official ceremonies, alongside civil and military authorities.
The King's Day celebrations in Namur: a morning of tradition and contemplation
The morning began with the traditional Te Deum celebrated in Saint-Aubain Cathedral, bringing together civil, military, and institutional authorities. The procession then made its way to the Monument to the Heroes of the Province, where a wreath-laying ceremony was paid tribute to those who have served the nation.
The presence of Navy cadets and students from Namur schools brought a strong intergenerational dimension to the ceremony, highlighting the importance of passing on national memory and values.

The ceremonies continued at the Provincial Palace in Namur, in a solemn setting. The official speeches recalled the significance of the King's Birthday, before a toast was raised to His Majesty the King.
