Despite the geographical distance between Mongolia and Europe, relations and cooperation have continued to expand, based on shared values of democracy, human rights, and respect for the rule of law. 🇲🇳🤝🇪🇺

Over the years, the partnership between Mongolia and Europe has been strengthened through notable agreements and initiatives:
📍 The Partnership and Cooperation Agreement signed in 2013 and entered into force in 2017, providing a solid framework for political dialogue and cooperation in various sectors 📜✨
📍 The Multi-Year Indicative Programs, which have provided significant financial assistance to support Mongolia's governance, sustainable development and economic diversification 💼🌱
📍 Collaborative efforts in trade and environmental sustainability, including the Forest Partnership Agreement and projects under the EU's Global Gateway initiative, aimed at promoting green development and combating climate change 🌍🌳
📍 The intensification of cultural and educational exchanges, with the participation of Mongolian institutions in EU programs such as Horizon 2020, promoting collaborations in research and innovation 🎓🔬
On this occasion, Magali Dugardin, President of the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur, and Frédéric Lernoux, Honorary Consul of Mongolia, had the honor of joining their esteemed colleagues from the diplomatic and consular corps 🇧🇳 🇰🇷 🇮🇩 🇰🇿 🇰🇬 🇱🇦 🇲🇾 🇲🇲 🇺🇿 🇵🇭 🇹🇯 🇹🇭 🇹🇱 🇻🇳 at a reception organized by the Ambassador of Mongolia, HE Bold Luvsanvandan.

The event was enriched by a speech by Stefano Sannino, Secretary General of the European External Action Service.

It is worth highlighting the presence of Tomáš Zdechovský, Member of the European Parliament, President of #DCAS.
🎶🎸 Following the reception, attendees had the pleasure of attending a concert by the Mongolian band "Uuhai" who brought their unique blend of traditional Mongolian songs, long chants, morin khuur music and rock to Brussels! 🎶🎸

It was an unforgettable cultural experience showcasing Mongolia's rich heritage in a very modern way at Ancienne Belgique - AB.
