July 21, 2023 – 🇧🇪 Belgian National Day 🇧🇪

The National Day in Namur had a special flavor this year, marking the 10th anniversary of our sovereigns' reign. Members of the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur and other dignitaries gathered at the Provincial Palace to commemorate this national event. Escorted by the Standard Bearers and the Malonne Volunteer Company of 1830, the procession, led by Governor Denis Mathen, headed to Saint-Aubain Cathedral, where we all attended the Te-Deum, presided over by Monsignor Warin.

After this celebration, accompanied by the music of the city police, we went to Place Léopold 1er for a floral tribute.

The day continued in the Maïeur gardens. Mayor Maxime Prévot spoke, and all participants were able to chat and gather around the traditional drinks reception.
