October 5, 2023 – 🎬 38th Edition of the FIFF Namur (International Francophone Film Festival) 🎬

Magali Dugardin 🇨🇬, President of the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur, accompanied by Frédéric Lernoux, Honorary Consul of Mongolia 🇲🇳, attended the 38th edition of the International Francophone Film Festival in Namur (FIFF Namur).

A highlight was the screening of the film "Libertate," directed by Tudor Giurgiu 🇷🇴. The film, which immerses the viewer in the upheavals of the 1989 revolution in Romania, offers a striking look at a dark chapter in history. It is a work that reminds us of the importance of the struggles for freedom and justice.

Following the screening, a reception organized by Mr. Denis Mathen, Governor of the Province of Namur, was an opportunity to meet directors, actors, members of the jury, as well as ambassadors and representatives of several countries including 🇷🇴 🇭🇹 🇲🇺 🇲🇩 🇦🇲 🇭🇺 🇷🇼 🇫🇷.

The FIFF, with its influence and its ability to unite around French-speaking culture, is a major event for the Province of Namur. We can't wait for the next edition!
