November 10, 2023 – 🎂 60th Anniversary of the BEP 🎂

Our President attended the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the BEP (Provincial Economic Office) which was held at the Esplanade AC/DC in Namur.

Denis Mathen, Governor of the Province, highlighted the importance of the BEP, recalling its rich history while highlighting the future challenges of this flagship institution. He mentioned the areas of economic development, business parks, innovation, territorial intelligence, and the BEP's essential role in the mobilizing dynamics of AXUD.

This event was an opportunity for exchanges, bringing together a multitude of personalities from the Province including Renaud Degueldre, CEO of the BEP, Jean-Marc Van Espen, Deputy-President of the Province of Namur, Maxime Prévot, Mayor of Namur, Annick Castiaux, Rector of UNamur, Amaury Alexandre, Provincial Deputy, and Joël Jacob, President Director at the Haute École Albert Jacquard.

The BEP, with its professionalism and commitment, was recognized for its 60 years of service to the Province of Namur, highlighting its role as an economic, environmental and development tool for the municipalities and the region.
