Colorful Haitian Flag Day at the invitation of Denis Mathen, Governor of the Province of Namur, HE Jesse Jean, Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti and the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur ASBL

Ceremony enhanced by the presence of the Ambassadors of Barbados, Burundi, Ivory Coast, the Dominican Republic, the Republic of Mauritius, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago and Tunisia as well as HE Mr. Olivier Belle, Ambassador, Head of Protocol of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Mrs. Eliane Tillieux, President of the House of Representatives.

Magnificent performance by Haitian singer Murat Jean Belony Bélo who performed a compilation of songs from his repertoire.

This was also an opportunity for Ambassador Jesse Jean to salute the work of Jerome Bestgen, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Haiti in Wallonia, and the friendship he has with Magali Dugardin, President of the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur, a non-profit organization.
