March 12, 2024 – Installation Ceremony of Mr. Philippe Lallemand as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco 🇲🇦

The Consular Corps of the Province of Namur participated in the installation ceremony of Mr. Philippe Lallemand as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco 🇲🇦 in Wallonia.

On March 12, 2024, the event was held at the Liège City Hall 🏛️, where Mr. Willy Demeyer , Mayor of Liège, opened the ceremony.

Mr. Elio Di Rupo , Minister-President of Wallonia, spoke, highlighting the importance of this event for relations between Wallonia and Morocco, remarks confirmed and reinforced by HE Mr. Mohammed AMEUR, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco 🤝 before the official presentation of consular authorizations.

Our Consular Corps was represented by our President Magali Dugardin 🇨🇬 and by our academic relations officer Frédéric Lernoux 🇲🇳 during a beautiful ceremony in the presence of Mr. Hervé Jamar , Governor of the Province of Liège - Administration 🌆, HE Abdelkader Abidine , Consul General of Morocco 🇲🇦 in Liège, our colleagues from the Consular Corps of Liège, represented by its President Bernard Piette 🇳🇱accompanied by Pascale Ruth 🇱🇻, Véronique Grisard de la Rochette 🇸🇮, Michel Cloes, Esq. 🇫🇷, Michel Mikolajczak 🇲🇨 and many members of the diplomatic, economic and political world 💼.

Mr. LALLEMAND's appointment demonstrates Morocco's desire to forge stronger economic and commercial ties with Wallonia. This ceremony was a wonderful opportunity to highlight the many opportunities Morocco offers in terms of investment and economic development 💰📈.
