February 15–20, 2023 – CCPN General Assembly in Namur, Reception of Carnival Princes & Binche Shrove Monday

We had the opportunity to meet important personalities and participate in exciting cultural events.

First of all, the General Assembly of the Consular Corps of the Province of Namur , where we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Denis Mathen , Governor of the Province of Namur . The inauguration ✂️ of the Consular Office of the City of Namur followed, which was an important moment for the consular community. Thanks to Frédéric LALOUX , Executive Director at Namur Europe Wallonie and to Anne Barzin, Alderman at the City of Namur.

Then, our president was invited to the Reception of the Carnival Princes 🎭 of the German-speaking Community, at the invitation of Mr. Oliver Paasch , Minister President. It was a very lively evening 🕺 and an opportunity to meet the dignitaries of this region.

Finally, we had the privilege of attending the Lundi Gras of the 🎭 Binche Carnival, a UNESCO Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity , at the invitation of Mr. Tommy Leclercq, Governor of the Province of Hainaut . This celebration is an unmissable event in Belgium 🇧🇪, and we were honored to be invited to participate in this festival 🎉, a tradition of our folklore. These events allowed us to meet wonderful people, discover new cultures and strengthen our professional relationships.
