The Consular Corps of the Province of Namur attended a key conference in Brussels entitled " Unlocking Business Potential: Emerging Opportunities in Burundi " 📈. This conference highlighted Burundi's initiatives to become a regional economic hub 🚀.
Burundi's Ambassador to Belgium, HE Ntahiraja Thérence , opened the roundtable by highlighting Burundi's 2040-2060 vision 🇧🇮, aimed at transforming the country into an emerging and developed country 🌟. The morning was devoted to discussions on the impact of climate change 🌍 and environmental initiatives, while the afternoon explored the various business and investment opportunities available in Burundi 💼.

Distinguished speakers, including representatives from the Commercial Bank of Burundi (BANCOBU), the Burundi Development Agency, and various sectors such as health, tourism, and infrastructure, shared their perspectives 🏥🏖️🏗️. This conference also benefited from the participation of key European figures, including the Director General of Enabel 🇧🇪 and the Head of EU Cooperation in Burundi 🇪🇺.
In closing, HE Ambassador Ntahiraja expressed his satisfaction with the way the event went and encouraged the continuation of these fruitful exchanges, highlighting the potential for collaboration and investment between Burundi 🇧🇮 , Belgium 🇧🇪 and Europe 🤝 .
