Issue 77 of Diplomatic World , edited by Barbara Dietrich , highlights the major highlights of the first half of 2025 , including:

  • the European Union - Central Asia Summit ;

  • the Astana International Forum ;

  • two major environmental conferences: the Samarkand Climate Forum and the International Conference on Glacier Preservation ;

  • 25 years of the African Union-European Union partnership ;

  • and of course, the Economic Diplomacy Day in the Province of Namur.

In this context, the presence of EDD25 in the pages of the magazine testifies to its growing role as a platform for field economic diplomacy , combining international visibility, inter-institutional exchanges and the development of concrete projects.

Recognition beyond borders

In addition to the editorial staff of Diplomatic World , several partners and institutions have relayed the spotlight on EDD25:

  • JLR Global Diplomatic Sales welcomed this collaboration in an official post, highlighting their diplomatic commitment and logistical support to the rally;

  • high-level readers (ambassadors, ministers, opinion leaders) saw it as an example of effective diplomacy, based on dialogue, proximity and event innovation.

This recognition is fully in line with the objectives of the Consular Corps of Namur: to promote synergies between diplomacy, economy and local development.
