May 21, 2024 – ESG-Themed Meeting with a Business Delegation from Québec

On May 21, 2024, at BECI, we had the pleasure of participating in a meeting with a delegation of fifteen Quebec companies that are members of the QG100 organization, representing the 100 largest companies in Quebec. This meeting focused on the central theme of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), a topic of crucial importance for companies in our region and our foreign partners.

The event provided a tremendous opportunity for sharing and learning. Quebec companies expressed keen interest in discovering the best ESG practices adopted by our companies in Belgium. Among the speakers, we were honored to welcome Tapio and Louis Collinet, Greenomy with Eliott Pleeck, and Bopro with Giovanni Litti, who shared their advanced ESG practices.

This meeting served to strengthen ties between our regions and highlight the importance of international collaboration to move forward together towards a more sustainable future. 🌱✨

It is important to highlight the special bond our Consular Corps maintains with Quebec, which has been further strengthened since our twinning with the Association of Honorary Consuls of the Quebec Region (ACHQ).
